Welcome to PAWSITIVITY
Come have fun on an off-leash adventure, play all day or enjoy an overnight stay.
​We make new friends, get exercise & go home tired! It's fun around here. We get coached, learn things & always feel loved.
Regardless of how many of us are here, we all get individual attention & feel special.​
Your parents get photos & videos throughout your visit. When they see how much fun you're having, you'll get to come back. If you're like some of us, your parent(s) notice improved behavior. That could score you a new ball or bone.
SERVICES
PROVIDED
OFF LEASH ADVENTURE
​
Enjoy being leash free & outdoors to sniff around or run with your trail buddies for 1 hour or longer. Field trips to places that allow us to swim & splash in the water occur in Spring, Summer & Fall.
All DAY PLAY
Run around, play with other dogs and chase balls in a large, fenced yard. A human plays with us & makes sure we are safe & enjoy ourselves all day. We vacillate between being outside & inside to ensure everyone stays cool or warm. This may include an off leash adventure .
SLEEP OVERS
Dogs are treated like the 2 goldens that live here. Everyone has a lot of freedom. No crates or confinement here so there is a limit to how many & what dogs are allowed at a given time. Make sure your parent(s) communicate any changes or cancellations regarding your overnight stays, some other dog might want your reservation.
COACHING & DEVELOPMENT
Everybody has something they can work on to be a better family member, trail buddy or friend. Whatever behavior needs to be addressed, reinforcing clear, consistent messaging will make desired changes swiftly.
PICK UP & DROP OFF
Every situation is different. If you need a ride to an adventure or day care, it can be arranged. If your parents want to drop off &/or pick up all or some of the time, no problem. Logistics can always be worked out.
PUPPIES
This is a great place to get a puppy proper exercise, socialized, trained and loved when parents aren't able to. Its fun, safe & a nurturing environment.
ABOUT
Pawsitivity 31, LLC is located in Kittery, Maine. Anna Ryan Mercik started the company in 2013. She loves dogs of all ages and breeds. Ryan wants to help parents provide a loving, fun & safe environment, with appropriate exercise for dogs, when they aren't able to. She also provides cat care.

Service area includes Kittery, York, Eliot, Portsmouth.
Ryan's golden retrievers, have been trained with positive reinforcement. All animals in her care are treated with positivity, kindness & sensitivity to individual needs & interests. No crates, confinement or negativity here!
Dogs need freedom, socialization, opportunities to run, play, and chase off leash. Immersing them in nature to enjoy wooded trail adventures and swimming in spring, summer & fall is essential and lots of fun! The focus is on being free, having fun, improving manners and ensuring everyone's safety.
